A Work in Progress
Eventually, we hope our farm will be a space for community to gather and celebrate. For now, it is our home and the land where we raise free-range chickens, turkeys, and an extremely chaotic year-old mutt named Juniper. We sell our eggs to Salmonberry Goods in Seattle, and we’re prepping for our first season selling pasture-raised heritage Thanksgiving and holiday turkeys in fall/winter 2025. Animal welfare is our top priority - we truly love our birds, and we're proud to breed two significant American heritage livestock breeds, Delaware chickens and Bourbon Red turkeys.
In addition, we steward 15 acres of forest from which we respectfully forage botanical material for our florals; we're also working on forest and riparian restoration of our stretch of Colony Creek, which has historically been salmon-bearing.
We'll be increasing on-farm floral production over the next few years, too, focusing on perennial planting and native plants beloved by people, birds, and pollinators alike.
Stay tuned to see what comes next, and don't be afraid to reach out and say hi!
